The Winter Blues & Greys

As we take on winter, one of my go-to looks is a skirt and sweater combination. I love this outfit for a simple and easy look that makes you feel much more put together. North Carolina’s weather fluctuates in the winter and thankfully allows me to wear outfits like this on the warmer days.

This scalloped sweater from Altar’d State is extremely versatile since it can be dressed up or down. I can easily pair it with a pair of jeans for school or skirt for a night out! What sold me on this sweater was the chenille fabric – if you don’t own anything with it you need to because it’s SO soft! Unfortunately it’s sold out but I’ve linked a bunch of other cute ones here!

My scalloped skirt is also from Altar’d State and is a great length for my super long legs. I try to dress modestly and if you’re tall, you can relate to the struggle of trying to find skirts that aren’t too short! I’m a big fan of the soft suede material since it really pulls the whole wintery look together!

This adorable gingham cross body bag is from the incredibly sweet Emma Lyn Designs! I collaborated with her on a post last year for Valentines day and she is just so talented! I love adding this bag to an outfit for a pop of print! For jewelry, I went with my trusty elle earrings from Kendra Scott in ivory pearl. I’m also wearing my simply pearlfect necklace from KJP that I adore! My bracelets are a combination of Les Georgettes, Alex and ANI, and Lily and Laura!

Thank you so much for reading today’s blog post! I hope you enjoyed it! Wishing you a fantastic weekend!

Love from North Carolina,

Cayleigh
